mia is a movement practitioner and teacher. Her choreography explores vessels such as the body and their abilities to share knowledge through movement, feedback, and sensation. She received her BA from UCLA’s World Arts and Cultures/Dance program in 2014 and has since exhibited dance and performance works in theaters, galleries, and museums. She has collaborated and worked under the direction of artists Jocelyn Reyes, Matt Jones, Kate Mitchell, Claudia Anata-Hubiak, Julie-Ann Gambino, Jacqueline Gordon, Kristin Damrow, Kevin Williamson, Ros Warby, Natsuo Tomita, and Monie Adamson.

mia is currently at UCI pursuing a MFA in Dance alongside teaching pre-professional dancers in the SoCal area.
